MULZ MED Occupational Health is a credible provider of on-site occupational and primary healthcare services in commercial industrial projects, particularly in the construction and mining sector. We provide healthcare services ranging from primary and occupational healthcare, to emergency medical services and further specialise in the development, implementation and delivery of comprehensive occupational health strategies for clients.
MULZ MED Occupational Health is geared towards Promoting Health and Safety through efficient and effective implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) as well as the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA). We strive to merge the compliance enforcement requirements for “Employers” with a high standard health and safety working condition that enhances “worker” productivity and thus mutually beneficial to both parties.
MULZ MED Occupational Health offers a bouquet of health services ranging from employers ‘compliance with occupational health legislation and administrative requirements, occupational risk assessment, risk based medical surveillance, biological monitoring, the management of injuries on duty, absenteeism management support, basic primary healthcare, and chronic disease management support. We further assist mining and commercial industries to set up their own primary healthcare clinics and occupational health clinics onsite. A flexible approach enables the structuring of tailor-made packages to suit the individual needs of employers.

We pride ourselves with a team of vast knowledge and professional competencies to deal with various aspects covering all our service offerings. Founded by Dr M Zwane, MULZ MED Occupational Health consists of two registered Occupational Medical Practitioners (OMP), 3 Occupational Health Nurse Practitioners (OHNP) as well as four Auxiliary Nurses and Technicians.
MULZ MED Occupational Health also have access to a pool of leading advisors and intellectual input enabling us the ability to remain at the forefront in our field of expertise and pro-active on service innovation for our clients. Through all our professional offerings, our team ensures that our esteemed clients can achieve legal compliance, have a customer focused design solutions, improve efficiencies and have a healthy and productive workforce.
The founding director, Dr Zwane accumulated vast experience from serving in a variety of fields in different industries, namely; the Department of Health (DOH); Anglo American; PRASA; and SAMANCOR to list a few.
